Last friday was somehow a success!The 4c performance finally finished and our class' hardwork seemed to pay off.Spending $16 on the Mdm Sim shirt was worth it i guess?For the past two weeks i had been worrying for this performance.Being one of the in-charge i had so much to worry!like where do i get kenny's shirt?How do i gather people for rehearsal?Where do i get the instruments all these..Lucky got Joel and Meixuan's help,if not i would just give up and do nothing for the performance.FINALLY!
On the day itself
I met joel like around 5.50am at the bus-stop?cause we are asked to reach school before 7am.It was such a torture waking up.Throughout the journey towards school,i kept listening to The Reason cause i was afraid that i will run out of tempo during the performance.
When we reached school,we got busy.We quickly organise the people to the hall,helped Kenny and Guo xian to dress up.We even asked Mdm Hidaya(dont know if spelt correctly)to come help Kenny put that...i dont know what's that called.Then Joel was still busy styling his hair.He took real long.I took shorter than him.
Soon we are asked to go down to the canteen to wait for our turn.WOAH i tell you the emotions are fluctuated at that time.I am sometimes happy that the performance is ending soon and sometimes nervous that it is approaching.But deep in me i know i am real nervous throughout.I even got the Pre-blah blah symptom.I was going to have diarrhea!I was so afraid later i cant tahan so i sat aside quietly,praying hard that the need-to-go-toilet feeling will disappear soon.GLADLY it did=D Then we have our last rehearsal and some taking of photos and up we go!
Up to the stage,the feeling instantly changed.I got more nervous and my hands turned cold.I kept calming myself down.Michelle,Zhi Qi and Sarah kept boosting me on.Lol that works i guess.Went to test out the drum and prepare myself.Before Joel went to speak to the crowd,We had a tiny little cheer to boost the band up.It was a stupid one though.Honestly.Haha.
Joel really really did a marvellous job being the MC.A potential speaker in the future sia.When he called my name,which is Jacky Tse Chun Kit!?,i was supposed to get hyper and jump out.But i didnt in the end cause of the nervousness in me.EEeee failed.So in the end i just walked out,while Joshua and Aziel jumped.Should have jumped too.Although i was nervous,but surprisingly this time i look at the audience,i wasnt as scare or panicky as previous time when i looked.So it was okay!
The main thing that caused the crowd to cheer was Kenny,imitating Mdm Sim.When he came out the audience cheered like mad.I was standing beside him laughing,cause i couldnt resist it too.He looked freaking like Mdm sim.Haha the part i like the most..Is when we wear the spectacles.I love the colours of them!
Finally we settled down and we prepared ourselves for The Reason.First few times when we were about to start,there were some problems-guitar no sound and my snare drum wrong sound,so we paused.But in the end we managed to play the whole song quite smoothly!Just that the mike that supposed to absorb the Piano sound failed.In the end the song was like without piano background,which is supposed to be the most vital instrument i supposed.It's such a waste.And one more thing is that Joel got too excited and went off beat and also out of tune.But overall it is alright!
After the The Reason then came our class 4c Song!Woah i was quite relaxed by then cause the most tensed part has passed.I was like there jumping and dancing freely.There's one freaking irritating part where the song failed to play as planned.Then Joel said:For every great thing to come blah blah blah..then a secondary 1 student laughed sarcastically.HE LUCKY I NEVER SEE HIS FACE..IF NOT...MUHAHHAHAHA..
TADA the 4c performance then ended successfully!It was such a relieved to me.Really enjoyed the process and how people viewed it.Most people say it was the best performance on the list that day.Woah the feelings is shiok dao.....4c rocks TOTALLY excluding the theft cases i supposed.
After the performance i went to Shawn house with Joshua and Kenny to slack off,play twisters,Red Alert 2 and watch spongebob squarepants.And after that went with the Tt Boys to Katong Mall!
